On October 16, 2011, martial arts schools around the country will join forces in a National Break-A-Thon.Be a part of this special day! Promote your school and help to comfort children with life-threatening illnesses in your community.

Quilts for Kids, Inc., is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with over 70 chapters of dedicated volunteer quilters, whose patchwork quilts have been distributed to over 100,000 children with life-threatening illnesses and children of abuse.

With over 6 million hospitalized children in need, your support will help fund the creation of these quilts and enable us to turn tears to smiles in the children we seek to comfort.

Money raised by each school will fund quilts to be donated to children’s hospitals in each school’s local community. The quilts will be donated by Quilts for Kids in the name of the participating martial arts school.

With support from national media, this will be a great day for martial arts schools and an even better day for children in need! With your participation, this one day can help donate 5,000 quilts!

Quilts for Kids will send you everything you need to have a successful Break-A-Thon. For information, please go to www.quiltsforkids.org or call Linda Arye at Quilts for Kids (215) 295-5484
